I've read on motor trend that there was only 5,700 made of the 2004 anniversary edition. The only thing is I dont know if there were only talking about the burgandy wtih stripes or all the stangs that wear the badge. I have a white 40th and if any one could answer the second part of this that would be awsome.  

Well i answerd my own question. all 2004 mustangs had the badge. the burgandy with gold stripes were the limited production. I think mostly due to that that was the color of the 300th million mustang.
