I am about to get my first car. I have been looking for some time now but I finally found a car for me. It is a 1999 Mustang. Stock everything, speedometer tops at 120, and the engine working perfectly. Are these mustangs worth putting anything into? Or should I wait till I'm older and get a newer mustang (preferably an 03 mach 1) I'm new to the car business and I need a little bit of help. thank you  

Hey man, congrats on getting your first car, a stang is definitely a nice choice. One question, is it a V6? The Speedo topping off at 120 makes me think it is a V6. Not that V6's are anything to scoff at, just that a V8 would be a better choice IMO. I am not sure what your price range is but look around and I am sure you'll be able to find one.
If it is a V8 then jump on it! Very fun car.

Yeah, it's just a V6. I'm trying to mix a little bit of speed with a little bit of fuel economy. An 03 mach 1 isn't in my price range right now that's why I'm going for this one. It's only $3950 but I'm wanting to put more into it.
