hey everyone!! i just got my hands on a mustang FINALLY!! it's a 1988 lx notchback with the 2.3 and a 5sp, and i'm wandering if there is anything i should be looking out for. like maybe an engine issue or something like that, if any, that is common in this engine or even with the car... also the guy told me it didn't come with a/c... so does any one know where i could get an a/c setup and how to put it on... thanks, jordan

I had a 90 mustang lx 4 banger. there fun cars but i would have to agree. there way under power and deffently could use 4 more cylenders. but all in all it was a great car. the only thing i had troubles with was the auto tranny, fan motors, and stearing linkage.

i totally agree with the automatic transmission problems. i have a 1991 with a 4cly. and the tranny just blew in it.
