I have a 02 Mustang gt Auto--
I would like someone to help me set up a blue print for how to build up my car.
-- I got a 85 Mm straight shot CAI
--75mm Tb and Plenum
--Mac Underdrive Pullies
--Mac 3" Catback
I am going to be putting on some JBA shorty Titanium headers then would like to find a 50 state midpipe system.
Then do I get a tune? Or whats next?

um... welp being that i ahve an 01 auto heres my suggestion... reguardless of what anyone will tell you an automatic transmission can be and often is more efficient and quicker at shifting then a manual. the problem lies in the stock torque converter and transmisison components. get a new torq converter with a higher stall closer to the 3-4 thousand rpm range... that will increase your power to the wheels and ur shift times. it will also put u at as fast or even faster then a manual trans can put a car. then i suggest the diablo sport tuner that u can get. you plug it in right under ur dash and let it run its deal adn theres a 15-25 horse power boost right there... downside to that is it adjusts your spark adn fuel soo you will require premium fuel if you dont already put it in. um as far as your exhaust goes... personally i recomend SLP.  they have a kit for headers back for our cars which has been AMAZING boost of power... go with a Xpipe and get rid of your typical H configuration it constricts the flow of your exhaust and doesnt allow it to flow as freely. the x pipe will boost your torque and power noticeably. i also suggest a 160 degree thermastat. make sure your cold air intake is run through your front fender right in front of the wheel well. if not it will suck in hot air off the engine compartment and kill any positive effects yoru intake would add. as far as im concerned thats about as much as you can do wihtout getting into the larger mods such as head swaps and blowers.

Diablo sport is crap that is old tech use sct xcal3 or sniper they use newer software, dont put on headers unless you have head work done if you use 1 5/8 jba"s you will lose bottem end and slightly gain some topend.Slp is ok but magnaflow or bassani or steeda would be the top three they put down more power and sound better slp is way too rasspy.Best xpipe is a mac prochamber your clutch is fine I know people running 10psi on kennybell 2v that have no clutch slip issues at all.Best options you will feel right away is 373 gears in the rearend, aluminum driveshaft the 4r70w auto trans doesnt have 31 spline shaft so make sure you get the smaller one or you will have to swap the yoke, poly tranny mounts and motormounts will plant power to the groung better, and the tune do it on a dyno crackerjack out of the box tunes are ok but dynos are better.Upgrade the input and output shafts in the tranny they are prone to breaking goto lentechautomatics.com or ati or summit they sell forged versions that can handle 900 footpounds of tourqe.Other options are typoon lower intake or reichard racing if you want all out race then comp cams and patriot performance stage two heads.Anything more than that you need to get a forged short block from shawn hyland or livernois performance and put on a procharger psc1 or dsc1 or get a kennybell if you want boost right off the line the prochargers have to spool up similair to the turbos.Hope this helps i have 2 mustangs myself that are fully built one steeda q335 that has been converted to a q400 by steeda in pompano beach florida and one 2004 saleen s281 supercharged #39 that is built out as well good luck with your projects they are lots of fun.
