ok well im a avid mustang fan... why spend an extra 10 grand on a 5.7 chevy when the 4.6 puts out only 20 hp less and gets better fuel economy as well as MASSIVE torque output? however the other day some jerk off was trying to tell me that even on the best of days there was no way my car woudl put over 200 hp to the wheel. i find this crap. i have teh 2001 mustang gt whiich has been modded. i got cold air intake, 160 degree thermastat, SLP under drive pulley system, SLP shorty headers, SLP high flow cats and x pipe and the Loudmouth exhaust running 3 inch piepes back to the tips which are 3.5 inch. i also ran the diablo sport tuning program through my computer. according to SLP their products are supposed to put down 310 at the rear wheel when all added up... yet he was trying to tell me its only 310 at the engine and that i dont even put down half of that... does anyone know what the stock mustang gt for 2001 puts down at the wheels? it was my impression that the manual was 260 rear wheel hp and 245 rear wheel hp for the auto... if thats the  case my car should be pushing at least 335. the exhaust kit advertised putting stock to 310 plus about 10 for cold air intake and another 15-25 for the  tuner should put me up  there. can anyone help me?

99-04 PI headed GT' put out 230RWHP and about 260HP at the crank. I had an 04 GT with all the bolt ons as well and dynoed in at 278 RWHP which is the norm for that style stang.  Car manufacturers never advertise RWHP. And don't believe al the advertisments numbers, the numbers they present are the best numbers out of many runs in optimal conditions.
I am not trying to side with the chevy dude, just trying to be real. Do some research on the ewb and you'll see what I mean.
