Hi Im new here and new to my first Mustang project here. Restoring a abuse 1992 Foxbody Mustang GT and was looking to modyfy the Gauge Cluster. My question is.. does anyone know if the 1992 Mustang Convertible LX Gauge Clusters that have the white face on them is compatible with a regular Mustang GT Cluster.

I used to have a 1988 notch and it was an 80mph cluster.

As long as the LX is a 5.0L, it has the same tach and speedo as the GT. If the LX is a 2.3L it has a different tach and a different speedometer (mid '89-'93 only). The other four, smaller gauges are the same.
The 140 MPH speedometer was not in the GT and LX 5.0L until October of '88 (two months into the '89 model year). Only the SSP ("police") Mustangs and the SVO had a 140 MPH speedometer before then.
