I"m just wondering what a good site to build a new engine for my mustang GT would be...I'm in Iraq and would like to have it ready when I get home...Thank you  

Whats up man, I know how you feel.  When I was in Iraq I was asking that same question.  I checked quite a few places and ended up choosing D.S.S. racing.  The engine ended up being around $8,700.00 or so (Long block not short block).  All the extra accoutrements, forged internals bored .020 over and so on.  They say that there level 10 race placed blocks can handle up to 1,200 HP.  So far I've gotten mine up to 355HP Naturally Aspirated.  This site should have quite a few recommendations for engine builders.  That's how I found D.S.S. Good Luck brother.  

I like hiddendoors' choice in D.S.S. racing,  but one thing you didn't specify is whether or not you are running a mod motor or a pushrod.  If you are running mod I suggest you look up either Sean Hyland at www.seanhylandmotorsports.com or MMR (Modular Motor Racing) at www.mmr.com.  MMR currently holds the record for the quickest modular stang.  But if your running a pushrod I would take a hard look at Ford racing's Boss 302,  from what I have heard supposed to be killer out the box and trumps even the R302 block.

SO FAR I BOUGHT A BARE MOTOR WITH COPPER FREEZE PLUGS, BORED 0.60 OVER. I HAVE A SET OF GT40 HEADS, KEEP IN MIND NONE OF THEESE ARE INSTALLED YET. I ALSO BOUGHT A X-303 CAM FROM SPEED -PRO. I DO HAVE THE COBRA UPPER/LOWER INTAKE, 70MM THROTTLE BODY, 70MM MASS AIR SENSOR, AND THE MAC FENDER COLD AIR INTAKE ON THE CAR NOW FOR THE TOP END INCLUDING B&M SHORT SHIFTER, 3:73 GEARS, B&M FUEL REGULATOR, PULLEYS, SUB-FRAME CONNECTORS, LONG-TUBE HEADERS, 1-CHAMBER FLOW MASTERS, A CHIP.
