Any idea how to repair a bad odometer  and trip odometer on my 1996 Mustang short of replacing the complete cluster?  The speedometer works fine.

Do not believe that a fuse is involved.  Just did a little research and found that Ford issued a service bulletin for this situation covering the 1996 Mustang.  Does anyone know how Ford fixed the problem?  I'll bet they didn't replace the cluster.  Also found a company online that sells the gear that just might repair the problem.  Cost is $25 plus shipping.  $29 total.  Not too bad and the cluster appears to come out fairly easily.  Opinions?

Does anyone have instructions on how to change this out? I have a 1995 Mustang and my odometer has failed also.
On a side note....does anyone have any idea what is up with the dash clock. It flashes, goes out completely, and I am not alone.

This is a very common problem with the Mustangs of that vintage.  I typically repair 2-3 a week at my facility.  The cost is $178.50 plus shipping and I guarantee my work...  not like the guys who will sell you the gears and tell you to figure it out.

Let the team at Lauderdale Speedometer take care of it, we know how!  Like I always say - "If you don't work on gauges, don't work on gauges".

Anyone interested in having to work professionally done, call me at 954-522-4885.

Thanks,
Brock
