Are there any pictures of stolen goods on the internet since the wheel and tire install?

Not yet. The article in the magazine just came out in the April issue, and our web editor tells me that the story should follow on the Internet in about a month. I'd post one here, but our new forum isn't set up for it just yet. Stay tuned.

Thanks,
Steve

Sounds like u got a good deal! I just changed everything that I had put on a 79 coupe to a 93 hatch back! cheaper to go with 93 than to fix rust in 79. 93 also has all the gt trim and speedo. lot of work but worth it. car will be alot better in the end. had to order chip to get it running nice size cam.

Yep, it was smokin' it was so hot. I'm going to have plenty of pics of Stolen Goods up here shortly, as our December issue will be more or less a project wrap up. Should have a couple of videos up on the project car page as well.

Thanks,

Steve

I must say, Stolen Goods is hot.  I love the parts combo and relatively stock look. I've been following since the first article and would like to do the same drive train and suspension setup in a coupe, - keeping it reliable for the daily commute and road race it a few times a year...  Could you give us a ballpark figure of the aftermarket parts cost?

I've seen the car in person and it looks great. I'm not a fan of black wheels but they work really well with the Teal and Silver on the car. The car has so few miles on it, it really does still have the new car smell. It's almost like time travel.
As far as a parts total, that may be tough for Steve to guesstimate because of all the variabiliby in the aftermarket pricing. I'm a modular guy but I'd bet there is almost 10K in just the motor. Then maybe $1500 in brake. Maybe 2K in the tranny and differential. I'm betting close to 15K for everything not inclucding the installation labor. Everything came out very clean. It looks like a new car, maybe because it basically is!
