Here's The Deal I'm From Puerto Rico And I Got A 88 Mustang Lx NotchbackWith A 4 Cylinder Engine Non-Turbo...For Now I Have To Restore The Paint And Then Start Working On The Engine But I Know Nothing In The Paint Department Also It Has An A4LD Which I Took Out And Replaced All The Seals And All The Clutches And Every Other Stuff In It. Anyways I Am Having A Little Problem Restoring It...It's My First Car And I Want So Many Things!!! I Want A 8 Cylinder But I Know Nothing About Doing That I Need Help In Any Way I Can...What Do I Need To Do This? Does It Take Long? What Risk Do I Take For Doing The Job Myself And What Should I Give Special Care? Anyways ANY Help Will Be Greatly Appreciated!!!

I think your cheapest and easiest bet would be to find a wrecked v8 car and do the swap yourself. All the required parts would be there and you would see exactly how they are installed to make it a snap to do for you. I would do the swap stock for stock just to get it running and driving, do the body work, and then upgrade to performance parts to build your perfect mustang. Hope this helps.

I concur. If you're going to stay with the fuel injected setup, that is the easiest way, or you'll have to find the parts piece by piece. You're going to need the engine,trans, and rear end and everything in between, along with the engine and body wiring harnesses. The V8 cars use different sway bars and brakes which you'll need to stop your now more powerful vehicle as well.
If you're going with a carburetor, you only need the drivetrain and suspension parts.
