I'm working on a restomod project for the ages. I'm putting a 02 model 4.6 into a 66 Mustang coupe. I heard that they are making an intake for a 4.6 that will accept a carb, has anybody heard of that? If so please point me in the right direction. The car I'm taking the engine out of is smashed and the wiring harness is shot, so I'd like to delete the computer but not sure how.

www.edelbrock.com or www.kar-kraft.com should be helpful to you. You'll also need a distributor. Check kar-kraft for that. IIRC they make all you'll need.

A distributor is not need since both MSD and Edelbrock offer electonic ignition controls that can be programmed using a laptop. BTW, Edelbrock also offers an intake that is carb capable.
