I've gotta 65' fastback with 302 bored over 40, holley 650 4brrl carb, edel. performer intake, ford motorsport alumin. ported and polished heads, summit rockers, hooker headers, and a t5 manual transm.. i just got some new 235 rs60 15's goodyear performance tires. If I hit the gas hard, i can never get traction in 1st or second year, do i need to get different gears?? like 373's or 410's.. i'm not sure but i would like to connect to the road a little more when i feel the need..

Supposing you have stock gearing now, 3.73 or 4.10s will just exacerbate the problem. You'll probably need to step up to a Nitto/BFG Drag radial tire, or at the very least, a wider conventional radial tire.

Sounds to me like the rear suspension needs some updated technology like your engine received. You have 1960's rear suspension back there. Have you done anything to the suspension to help? There are several different companies that make 'traction' bars that could help a lot. Do you know if your trac lok is working? Are you sure you have a trac lok? Might be time to rebuilt or replace it to make sure both tires are getting torque. The leaf springs could be weak, orginal rubber bushings flexin like crazy, and shocks are all things to look at. Upgraded tires might make a hugh difference too. Hope this steers you in the right direction.
