I am interested in building up a 1/4 mile car. I would like to be in the mid to low 11,s and I hear 10,s are expensive,
I am looking for a low budget build up and I could use some help from you guys.
I cant rebuild an engine my self so I will need a new one and some bolt on ideas,

Talk about a loaded question there.Low budget 11 second car huh? Before starting a project you should set up a reasonable budget. Because you will go over, trust me. I wouldn't worry about times at this point. Find a reasonable car that is straight. Start with the chassis and drivetrain first. then work you way to the motor. Once you get a price that you are willing to spend then get a car then you can come up with a list of have' to's and want to's.

Samk is right. You have to layout a real budget and then expect to spend a bit more from your original idea. There are a lot of great deals out there for Fox cars on the Internet. Perhaps one of the best starting points is someone's project that they bailed on. You can find a half-built car for a reasonable cost. Then just go ahead and finish it up.
The good thing, running 11s shouldn't be too difficult, even for a budget build up. Remember to check the NHRA rulebook and adhere to the proper safety standards they have set forth for running such an ET. Good luck and have fun!
