I depents on how you plan to drive your car. A CAI will give you power all the way around, but slightly less than the ram air hood will at running speed and peak. The ram air set up will feel alot more like stock during nomal driving, but once you get up to speed and the air actually begins be "rammed", it will give a bit more power across the top end. Other than that, it's just a matter of hood cosmetic choice. Alot more people run CAI because it's less expensive and more can be done with it, as far as tuning goes.

I dont know bout on a v6 but i had that same question when deciding what to do to my GT. I had drove a GT with the CAI and then also with a ram air hood and i decided i liked the way the ram air hood was. It felt better at high speeds and i think it sounded better with the ram air and it also adds style that works to your car. So i decided to get the ram air shaker hood
