I am curious because it makes a funny whining sound, but I ran my car harder then i needed to and the oil is now black, I have already shredded a bearing in the blower, and i want to make sure i don't need to do that again

Older Paxton self-contained blower? Are you talking about the ball-driven units? I don't think the original Paxton ball-driven blowers have drain plugs. I think you had to turn it upside down and drain it out. Call Paxton Automotive, since the company changed owners five years ago, they don't service those units anymore. However, they do have the name of a company that does work on the older ball-driven units. Good luck!

Mike is correct, they dont have a drain plug. Paxton actually made a tool (a siphon basically) that you used to suck the oil out. I dont know of any place off hand that still sells them however you can get a mini siphon off the shelf at your local parts store that should work.
