I have these 11in wide cobra r wheels, and i want to put them in on my 86 convertible 5.0 but I don't think they will fit. Do you guys have any idea what we can make to put these in? What ever that's cheaper will work better.

Put in aftermarket lower control arms so that you can ditch the quad shocks and have a body shop push out the rear quarters the needed amount which really isn't that complex for a shop who has done it before (to a point but I am not sure the amount of stretch 11" wheels would need).
The other option is to look at the recent MMFF which installed a set of mini tubs in a fox.

I'll check this out... will it look good with the rear wide body? It's about 1 1/2 inch wider.

Alright, you will have to take this in perspective because the car in this picture has a chopped roof along with being widened.  But this is one of the most severe wide bodies I know of so I thought I would show the picture so you could see.  Now the guy who runs auto kraft takes forever to finish a project so I would not recommend having him do work but this car he did a long time ago and was cutting edge at the time.

I don't like what they did to this car. It dosn;t look muscle type, it's more of a Honda type of body work. Mine Is a convertible so I think it will look a little better because of the roof. I want it to look agresive!! Thanks, I'll keep looking for more info.

The real trick is that if done right, a slightly widened fox is almost impossible to distinguish from all others unless you have a normal body sitting right next to it.

on this month's 5.0 magazine, there's a part where they do this job on a fox body. They just changed the lower control arms (how you told me), rolled up the outside fender, and a little cutting in the inside... Not much work done to fit the 35/315/r17's. This is the widest tire that will fit without many mod's. I'll try this out. It looks really aggresive from the back.
