Hello all. In the past I have ad fox body Mustangs 1990&1995 gt's. I now have a 1996 T-bird and am in need of information . I want to start making it a little more custom. Does anyone know what size lowering springs and such to drop the car? Maybe like 2 inch or so ? What about any ideas on speed items ? I miss my 1990 GT. I'd like to start making this T-bird into a well handeling fast fun to drive car. any ideas would be appreciated. Car has about 80 thou on it.
Again , Thanks

I don't know what springs you can use but as far as speed parts I would swap in PI heads, cams and intake from a 99-04 Mustang GT and a more freeflowing exhaust. You can find the heads brand new for $450 each on fordracing.com(maybe cheaper somewhere else) and the intake for less than $170 from a lot of places. Make sure that this swap is smog legal where you live as it will raise your compression to 10.0:1. This will bring your horespower from 210 to about 260ish.

Also, The website for the Thunderbird/Cougar Club of America has a lot of good info. WWW.TCCOA.COM. Also, you can get even better heads than Ford PI heads from www.FoxLakeRacing.com or WWW.Patriot-Performance.com, Also, Edelbrock makes a Intake for the 4.6 in both efi and carbeurated.
