Hey every one.  This dulaman65 and right now I'm working on a 99 V6.  I want to put in a 4.6 which i do on and right now I working on getting a tremec T56.  The problem is that in North Carolina state law that we can not upgrade are engines in are cars that have a OBD2 system.  If it came from ford with a v6 you must keep a it v6 without changing engines.  The question is can a 3.8 ecu run a 4.6 so I can get it inspected or is possible for someone to hack an ecu to make say it's a 3.8 ecu when it a 4.6 ecu?
