Ok my transmission is making a noise that sounds similar to your exhaust scraping. That is the best way i can describe it. It only does it in a coasting gear at low speeds, that is when you hear it the loudest. It is present through them all but mostly in a lugging gear. such as 25mph in 4th gear you go to accelerate and the noise is there. Now this is only on acceleration. I was thinking the rear extension housing bushing and seal, or one of the clutch bearings. I can hear the throw out bearing at idle chirping i am not sure if maybe that sound is what is intensifying in the acceleration, not sure. I have been to parsons ford to get answers and they knew nothing. I am stumped and need a pros help. Also trans. is a TR3550 and i have an aluminum driveshaft with 373 gears in the rear.
