To the point. I have a 347 all aluminum stroker. 10.6.1 compression, 4.126 bore, 3 1/4 stroke, flat top pistons, x-303 motorsport cam, Modified gt-40 intake, 30 lb injectors, 75mm tb.,80mm mas, msd ignition, 1993 computer, (this is a 95 mustang), 185 AFR heads, timing set at 10 degrees. PROBLEM- The engine pings BAD! I might need to run a higher octane fuel other than 93. Can it be that simple? How about different plug range? I'm a novice mecanic. Can any one give me some help? Is there any tricks out there that I missed? Please help!
