Would someone help re-build my mustang?

I have always been in love with classic mustangs, preferably 1965-1967 mustangs. But anything that is "running" is out of my price range and I would LOVE to restore a car myself. However! I have no clue how to, where to start, or what the hell I'd be doing if I got into a project that big. But I would still love to learn. Are there people out there that help people re-build mustangs for fun? Or would I have to pay them? I think they would be rewarded greatly enough just by helping a chick out to rebuild a beautiful mustang! What is the average price range I would be looking at? I would probably buy one that is "running" (notice the quotations) which would probably crap out on me, anywhere from 1500 (not likely) to 3500 maybe? What type of literature is out there for people like me? Where is the best place to buy parts? I know I'd be looking at YEARS until it is in crystal perfection type condition. But if I just had a mustang to stare at for hours a day, touch, and call my baby, i'd be happy! RESPOND!!!!

i love my 2 98 mustangs i payed over 6 grand for the v6 it was my frist. till i found the 98 gt standerd for 4 grand. "i fell in love with this car" but it need alot of work. i didnt really know what the hell i was doing but after i got in to it. it was not that bad the rebuild book help alot. it took it from a alright looking car to my dream car. you know new paint headlights, rebuild motor, rims tires. it ran like a rapped date. till i loned it to my sis in law and she hit a light pole with it. ripped off the front clip. and hood and tore the front fenders up so they said it was total loss. i said yeah right so i bought it back at salvage and in the middle of fixing it up now so if you need and help with any thing about the mustang let me know. got to keep the mustangs alive.

rebuilding a car isnt to bad but it does take some time.depends what you want to do to it and how much you want to sink in it. i have a 1990 gt with a 347 stroker moter fully built and i have it dynoed at 615rwhp and 600fpt. i also have a turbo kit stage 3 that ill probly be running 12-15 lbs of boost.but anyways it does depend what you want to put into it. by the way mine completly street legal.
