Ok so this is a two part question. I have a 95 GT heads cam intake exhaust and gears right at 350 hp 326 torque. I'm starting to get a little concerned with my transmission because i still have the stock t5 in my car. So my question is should i go to a c4 transmission, and would i need anything else to go with it, or should i go with a TKO 500/600. Part two of the question is what is the advantage of the TKO 500 vs 600 or the other way around. This is my daily driver for now so please take that into consideration when giving me advice. Thanks guys.

well a c4 is a 3 speed auto and the TKOs are 5 speed manuals.. u need to narrow it down.. there are huge differences in the trans..

With a standard trans mission you can shock the tires harder on the launch, this is why drag radials don't work as well with the manual tansmission. The automatic will make more torque and deliver it smooter all the way down the track. Without an over drive, you would have to gear down if you still wanted to drive on the highway. Most C4 and TH 350 run like a 355 gear to keep some top end.
