I have a 92 Georgia Hy patrol Mustang, I confirm this by looking behind the left head light and found the tag (s), It seems that it was also used in Mississippi as well. My problem is, the engine is apart, the kid I got it from couldn't tell me if it was a 5.0 or a 5.0 HO, I can't find any thing that tells me what size cam was in it. I know that the pistons are 4.040 but so is my 89 HO with a B303 cam, I sure the rear end only has Hyway gears for that flat out run'em down speed, the speedometer goes to 160mph, NOW what makes it an Interceptor? The computer numbers are E9ZF-12A650-CA A9P (for AOD) other than A9P, it's the same as my 89 that ends in A9L. I need help in finding out as much as I can on this thing, and there are no ser# on any parts or the body other than the VIN. If you can help, let me know. Thanks, Dan

Severe/Special Service Package (SSP) Mustangs had the same exact powertrain and rear axle as non-SSP Mustangs. No special engines, transmissions, computers or chips, rear ends or gears, etc. They did have heavy duty service parts such as hoses, alternators, fan clutches, rear control arm bushings, etc.
All '82-'95 5.0L Capri/Mustang engines were H.O.
