I just bought an 02 mustang GT 5 spd. with 55,000 miles on it. I LOVE it! Anyway front bumpers got a chip a good scratch wanting to do an 03-04 cobra bumper cover. I was wondering if there are any brackets exclusive to the cobra I would need? Also will a h or x pipe with cats throw check engine lights? My last one promise...as far as tuners go is there one out there that is far better than others....Thank you

As of for the cobra bumper I am not sure. If I were you I would go with an x-pipe and high flow cats. I personally like the sound of an x-pipe over an h-pipe however an h-pipe will give you more low end torque while an x-pipe will give you higher rpm horsepower. As long as you connect all the right wires (O2 sensors) there shouldn't be any check engine lights that come on. As for tuners I have heard that SCT X3 power flash is one of the best ones you can go with. You should check out American Muscle and look at what each of them do and decide which one is best for you. http://www.americanmuscle.com/

The x pipe with high flow cats wont throw a check engine if you use the o2 sensors from your old pipes..I own a 2002 GT with complete exhauste mods and havent had any problems with check engine lights

Again I dont know about the bumper, but... get an x pipe. Your check engine light will not come on if you hook your sensors back up. In order for you to do this you may need to get the extensions. As for a tuner, go to a shop that will tune your car to your bolt ons. Find a mustang shop. My custom tune is way better then the Diablo that I bought. It cost about the same price.

bassani is about the best x pipe out right now. i have a catless one but moving into town soon so im going to have to get cats. the nice thing about bassani is that its a 3 peice x pipe. make install a brezze. i have heard that the SCT uses much more up to date software. but diablo has a great web site than can asest you in tuning your car. but a turn from a pro is the best way to go.

i enjoy the offroad x pipe i put on my car it does throw the check engine light unless you get the piggy back sensors which are like 50 or so dollars i know jeggs supplies them also the check engine light can be fixed by getting a programmer, i know here in the next month i am getting the sniper performance programmer, but im also putting on a turbo so it will help alot with all the technical stuff, rmp, rev limiter, air/fuel, top speed set, and you can program 2 cars with it unless you buy bullets then you can program more and with shipping its like $400
