I have read a little about the CNC heads by Patriot and others, how are the power and service life? does anyone make their own casting with improvements built in? I have a 99 gt convertible with most of the bolt ons, cold air, 75TB, c&l upper plenum, newer PI intake(original cracked)predator tune,BBK shorty headers, spec stage 1 w/alum. flywheel. 3.73 gears and stacked posi, off road x pipe, flowmaster american thunder exhuast, MSD coils, and Baer 13 in brakes.
Next into the money pit of fun is heads and cams that will make the most of what i have already done. I am at 255 rwhp, 290 rwtq.I am putting the car is more for scca solo and road coarses along with as many burnouts as I can get away with. Currently 76k miles on the car. I was thinking patriot stage 2 heads and comp cams xe262 with a future forced induction as the budget allows. Any recomendations? good or bad experiences? This is my first build up and am having fun but like the idea of doing it right the first time. Thanks for any ideas.

Trick Flow has announced and is about to launch their new Modular Twisted Wedge head. It's a new casting with significant improvements over the factory castings in almost every area. Works with stock or aftermarket PI intakes and cams.

262's are a great street cam but you should probably shop around and look at some others as well (I'd really consider the Hitech Motorsports stage 1 or stage 2 cams or Cushman Motorsports stage 1 or 2).

I run xe270's on Fox Lake stage 2 ported PI heads on a 5.4L. Makes good power but the heads do hold it back so I'll be upgrading to the TF heads when they're available.

Those heads sound great, wonder what the cost will come out to. As for cams, I didnt want to go too big for the idea of some type of forced induction when the budget allows. Knowing what others have used with or without sucess might help me getting the right combo. Most of the 4.6 cars up here are done by blowers, I wanted to try all motor until I can afford the 5k-6.5k for parts is a steep sum for supercharged or turbo motor done right. I am sure that I will need a bottom end when the blower gets bought.
