Yes i have an E-303 cam, 1990 mustang 5.0. With gt40 fuel injection, anderson ford motorsports tunner..... With my setup. i half to use the (idle control)within the programming of my andersons tunner?.
.... My question is i have heard of guys blocking the E.G.R. valve off).. I can understand why it even effects engine performance under throttle!(D*&*&)! SO i am ready to get rid of mine but before i do?. What do i do with those vaccum lines?. And am i gonna be pumping the gas when starting cold?. What r the down sides of removing the E.G.R. valve?..
Also wear can i get the block off plate and everyting i need.. to do the job correctly

deleting the egr valve is simple just buy a new spacer for your throttle body that is none egr summit and jegs have them as far as the vacuum lines follow them back and disconnect them at the t's and block it so u have no vacuum leaks other than that there is nothing left too do hope this helps

Thanks although i think i fixed it?.. I started by getting the car up to operating temperature. Then i parked the car while idling. and unplugged the I.A.C motor., then i adjusted the throttle screw until i got around 700 rpm, then i turned the ignition off and plugged the I.A.C. motor back up and the car idles fine so far?.. I think many of us want to blame irratic idles on emissions when sometime, the idle speed needs to be checked properly.. This also includes making sure your T.P.S. sensor is within operating range. After addons(m.a.f, injectors) etc.. I think sometime we forget to check to make sure the idle speed is set correctly or too our liking for me. I made other adjustments to make me happy,.. But i think sometime we forget to set it properly!!!!
