mass air conversion HELP make the [speed density ] go away

88 gt 306 performer 5.0 intake x303 heads bbk long tubes 5 speed 410 gear have a summit 75mm mass air for 30lb injectors i know i need the computer but i have a 94 mustang v6 could i take the mass air plug and its 4 wires out and use it like a aftermarket plug repin my speed density plug going to computer!!! is this all i need????? ford racing said yes and i need to unplug the BAP and cap the vac line and let the BAP read open air. i ask if i would need any thing else they said no. dont i still need a MAP sensor.ford tech said to just unplug BAP line and leave BAP to read open air? yes i know i just said that but i thought mass air needed to read MAP to run.i know people how get custom tunes from Lidio Iacobelli and he turns off alot of stuff like o2 sensors but he leaves the MAP on if any one has any info let me know i have seen some realy helpful Q and A on here please help just got heads cam want to drive my baby but dont want to mess it up or buy a kit with parts i already have. also any body run these heads with this cam and intake did it run good from idle all the way to redline?
