i am in the process of installing a set of bullit wheels on my 87 stang. I am wondering what the max size 17 I can fit both front and rear with no rubbing issues?

According to the American Muscle Mustang Tire Guide in the Jan issiue, its recomended a 17x9 rim with 245/45 up front a 255 could rub, and go 275/40 out back
