98 mustang GT. Of course it has the t-45 but im sick of those! Will be doing some engine upgrades soon but is stock at the momment. What is involved to put at T-5 into the 98 gt? Cause Summit has the 95 Cobra R T-5 for $2200. 600ftlb torque capacity 31 spline output shaft. I Also need to know what the input shaft diamiter is if anyone knows that by any chance?lol What bell houseing if any? Will the stock tranny mount work. Am i going to need to run a differnet computer?

its a manual transmission as long as you stay manual or put a non electric shift transmission in it u don't need too change ecm i would suggest going with the t-56 six speed they have the holding power direct bolt in and you would not belive the improved drivabilty even witha high horse power car even with a 3.73 or 3.55 rear end 4.10 is too low for the six speed hope this helps thx sam
