1983 GL 5.0

I been searching the net for quite a while now and can't find any information on a stang I once owned.I don't know if this is the right area to ask,but seems like the only one it should go.

It was a:
1983 GL (not GLX or GT)
Coupe
5.0
5spd
4bbl
TRX handling pkg
3.08 Limited Slip (was a great differential,built a lot like a Auburn but was weak 7.5in.)
Bright Red
Black interior
Center Console

What I'm wanting to know is the production #'s of this particular type.Like I said I have searched and searched for anything on a GL,but the only thing I get is 4cyl cars or if it's a V-8 then it's a GLX or GT.I know it to be original GL.I know the guy who 1st owned it from new till my father bought it 3-4 yrs later and then I bought it off him about 2 yrs later.I don't know if it was produced as a special service package,but has me wondering.
Me nor my father really did anything to it except took the vacuum for the secondaries off and make it mechanical,duel exhaust,fine tuned the ignition and carb.It would beat any 83-84-85 GT it came across and after our little bit of work I was able to stay even with 90-91 GT's and on the top end I could slowly pull away from them.I bought a 93 LX coupe new in Sept 92 and still think my old 83 was better (not as plush on the interior tho).
I remember you could be cruising along around 20mph in 2nd and open it up and it'd leave 50ft of rubber.Later I put a built 1970 302 (5.0)engine in after the original went south and man did it run then.Man the memories  
I'd just like to know more about it.I don't have anything anymore ie:buildsheet (lost in a move) or the VIN to help...need any questions about it for help in getting me information just ask..I'll try to hit this up every day.This is like my last hope..I tried registry's (some wont let you post unless you have a VIN etc.),searches and just come up empty.  

a gl with the v8 option was rare plus it had the trx don't know if any of the gooroes know the numbers i'll post back my brother is a classic mustang nut
