I have a 1990 LX Convertible and I'm looking for a really good set of subframe connectors. Only problem is, most sets will not fit ragtops, i.e. Edelbrock 5291, The Convertible needs it the most! Can anyone help?

Try Maximum Motorsports. they have the best on the market. I have their full length connectors on my 91 GT ragtop and they fit with no problems. just have to remove the factory braces. they work great, stiffend the whole car. no more rattles and squeks. they have a kit that has the subframes braces, k member braces, and strut tower brace for about 400 i think. thats what i have and recommend. hope it helps

I just ordered them thanks!
You mentioned removing the factory braces. What braces did you remove?
Thanks for the information.

There should be a few metal plates riveted to the bottom of your car. this was fords attempt at stiffening the chassis. you just have to grind the rivits off to remove them so the MM pieces will sit flush with the floor.
