Have 1999 V6 w/ 5-speed, just over 100K miles.  Have gone thru at least 4, if not 5, clutch cables in the last 60K miles (bought the car used).  Most recent cable was put in just 5wk ago, and the gradually increasing clutch pedal throw suggests it's about ready to snap again.   Anyone have any insights as to why I'm calling AAA once or twice a year for a tow for this dang 'Stang clutch cable???  What's the solution?

Thanks.
