I bought a 64 Fairlane from Chockostang about 1 1/2 yrs ago , where it comes with spindles and disk brakes, been fighting with him ever since. Fist I get the kit and take it to My local Mechanic to have it put on (Because I dont have a lift and a very bad back) The shop calls me says the tie rod ends are wrong ,their right twist and I need left twist, so I call Mr Chocko to tell him all he told me I didnt know my AXX from the ground,so I just went out and got the tie rod ends because I didnt want to tie up this lift. Ok so get the car back , Not done finishing building my motor , Finally get the motor and tranny done Install them and take the car back to My Mechanic to get the front end relined(Never even drove the car yet) They tell the the bottom arm on the right spindle is cracked-more like seperated where it bolts to the tie rod,So I take pics and send to Mr Chocko, He said I broke it,So I send pictures to MBM (where the spindle was made)with the numbers off the spindle(1521),MBM Tells me that spindle is for a 68/69 Mustang and is wrong for the 64 Fairlane and they dont make a spindle for the 64 Fairlane and the misuse of the part made it break, and MBM sends me a E-mail with Mr Chocko new web site with Big Bold letters NO NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SPINDLE disk brakes for 64 Fairlane. I called MR Chocko again and got No where ,all he told me was he send me the same spindle again , Has anybody else used this kit ? I know I am going to remove these spindles and have to find Original 5 lug spindles as for I dont have my Original ones and buy the Correct kit ,anybody know a good Co. to buy one from ? Please Help !!!

hi i use 69 mustang spindles without any problems, use everything off the 69 as far as rotors and calipers. the only problem you may run into is a different size tie rod end ,meaning you will have to buy a tapered reamer and open the hole in the drag link to accomodate the 69 tie rods or use a 69 outer tie rod end on the 64 tie rod either way its not a problem.good luck
