heres the thing. i had a flywheel & clutch from a 85' 302ho on my 84' 351w with a t5, worked great, but swapped it back to the 5.0, and now need to buy a flywheel and clutch for my 5.8. for the sake of price im looking to buy one for a 5.0 (knowing its compatible with the 5.8, for the 5.8). i only recently relized there are different sizes, imbalance weights, and teeth within the different years (guess i got lucky with the miss matching). what i understood with my research was, the 85'earlier had 28.5oz weights 10" clutch(so im assuming the 5.8 needs a 28.5oz), and the 86' later has 50oz weights and a 10.5"clutch (PLEASE correct me if im wrong) soooo.... MY QUESTION IS: would it work with the 351w to to get a 86 or later flywheel with a bolt on 28.5oz weight and a 10.5" clutch and still use the same bellhousing and starter as i had with the 85" setup? if not, what would work, or be recommended?
