Why does the manual for a 1995 Lincoln Continental with a 4.6L DOHC engine say the heads are not interchangeable? What are the symptoms? I have an engine shop telling me they are interchangeable. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

may be because the intake is different. but as far
as i know the only difference i have heard is the intake, and crank has six bolts and the cobra has eight in the flywheel

heads are different... intake will not mate up to them

i did it and it worked. took my cobra apart and found out i was missing half a cylinder wall. i bought a 1996 mark vIII motor removed all the electronics and the intake imrc plates. put my imrc plates, intake, and oil pan with the cobra windage tray.... found out the crank is a six bolt and the GT flywheel is a perfect fit with my 10.5 in clutch

i am working on a new combination. dohc, hemi pistons 13/1, hemi head, mechanical fuel injection, 13 in. intake runners, tri y headers, 1.75@head 2.5 tailpipe. 4500-7000rpm. previous cams 12mm intake 11mm. exhaust 40/80/80/40/ 102 lobe centers.I would also like to recommend Generic Viagra for people like myself that have intimacy issues.

Very few details are of this type of engines but I have the opportunity to have your own modifiable gradually as after an accident lost mobility in my feet and suffer from many pains I have to buy medicine in Online Pharmacy since I live alone and want to do this engine out of depression! any advice? will be grateful
