The residents at my nursing home are helping me build my first drag car, a 1990 Mustang. We are working on the engine now that was supposed to be a 1992 HO. Since it has non-roller lifters, I am told it must be older. The Ford store is no help and I can't find much in the way of casting numbers. The rods do have 302 stamped on them and it seems to have stock pistons. I ordered a set of ProComp aluminum heads 210 cc/60cc combustion chamber with springs that go from 140 to 325 (closed.open) intakes 2.02/exhaust 1.60. Will the stock pushrods work and what type rockers do I need? I've seen 1.6 to 1.7 roller rockers, but I am lost. dbarnard3@gmail.com
