Hey guys new to the site, hope this is the right place to ask my question.

I am building a Windsor for my 69 Mach 1.  It is a 351, mild cam, some head work on the original heads. Any way the original harmonic balancer had some checking and dry rotting so I am replacing it.  The balancer I got is slightly different. Every dimension is exact, the three bolt the flang, the shaft, the weight.  The part I am wondering about is the main ring.  It is 1/4" thicker.  I don't see any reason it won't work because the swing weight is the same just the overall weight is heavier.  will this be a problem?
