hi i have a 92 hatch with an AOD tranny andn i am in the prosses of swapping out my AOD for a T-5. i know i have to get a new clutch and brake assembly , and all the nescassery hardware to transfer over but i was wondering if its more complicated then i think do i hav to get a new computer for the trans? please help me out thanx

I did the opposite (swapped a t-5 for a c-4). If you are sticking with the old cross-member, you have to break the weld, and move the actual mount either foward or backward, and then re-weld it (you'll be able to tell which way you have to move the mount). That's one thing I know about the swap. Does the T-5 drive shaft work?

thanx for the reply, but i have one question when you switch from a 5-speed to a automatic did you have to change your computer to run the new C-4 did you just put the tranny in and go?

Your computer will be fine. However, If you were going from a T-5 to an AOD, you would need the AOD computer. Other than the obvious things(bell housing,flywheel,pedals, clutch,etc.), you should be fine. The drive shaft should be fine also.
