I've broken the speedometer cable in my 87 GT 5.0 5spd. I have an 88 parts car that has a 2.3 and AOD. Are these cables interchangeable?

I think u are out of luck. The AOD I believe takes a diff cable than the T-5 does. Someone confirm this?? Mr86GT
