i just installed a new ac compressor and liquid line and new freon in my 89 gt conv. when i turn iti on full blast its not you know cold like some other ac i ve been in its just real cool does any body know if there are stronger compressors out there or any thing i can do to make it come out colder because itt has to be reall cold to make up for the conv. part of the car

I would start by making sure you have the right pressures going. Did you vacuum the system long enough? Moisture in the system can cause performance issues. If needed I would recover and vacuum for at least 10min. then recharge. Don't always go by what the sticker says about charge amount, not becuase the sticker may be wrong but more likely that the machine is inaccurate. Charge by pressure readings and vent temps. A proper setup should take about 30deg out of the ambient temp. If it is an R12 system pressures should be about 30-35psi on the low side and about 100psi plus add in the ambient temp to 100 for the high side. On a hot day the compressor should stay on constantly and the accumalator should be sweating. Hope this helps.
