i have a 1966 falcon wagon with a 200 c.i.d i want to put a pointless dist in it but for a orig 40,000mi engine i can't see $400.00 on a dist. my question is can i use a dist from a newer granada or fairmont with a 200 w/o points also if i can would i need to get the ignition box and wiring any help would be great thank-you  

You can pick up a pertronix igniter and retrofit it into you distributer, I did this to my 65 stang using a 68 distributer the original 65 dizzy is vacuum advance only the newer one is mechanical and vacuum for more info check out the guys at www. ford six .com they will have all the answers for your Ford inline 6.
