I currently have a 92 ford hatchback, 5.0, but I really want a notchback, but have not found an affordable V8 yet. In the process of buying a 4cyl, just wanting to know how hard it would be to make my 4cyl a V8 using my parts from the 92. Main concerns is the motor mounts and wiring. Any info would be apprectiated.

Hey go to www.krperformanceandrestorations.com/index.htm and email Bob Roeder (pronounced Reader). I more or less watched him do a 5.0 swap on an '89 4 popper he had. He will be able to answer any questions you have on it.
Big Thanks to my friends at KR Performance and Restoration out of Nebraska

the motor mounts from your 92 will work but you will have to put in the kmember from your 92 as well. I'm doing a conversion myself and it is alot more work than i planned. Here is alist of everything that is different tha ive found so far.
brake booster
speedometer cable
gauge cluster
propurtioning valve
kmember
motormounts
fuel lines
cruise controll cable
throttle cable
rear brake lines
rear end
front brakes spindles struts spindles and springs
rear springs
computer
radiator
when you take anything off save all the brackets because they are different too
their is also a extra vaccum canister in the right front fender for the 5.0
transmission cross member
all the wireing will connect togather they used the same chassis harness and just left the pigtails
fuelpump is the same
