what gears for 1/4mile ? 99GT

I have a 99 GT... I want to make this car quick... What are some good mods to start out with? Headers,NOS, intake manifold? what brands? Also I have heard of re gearing the car for quicker times.. if so what should I change it too, to get a quick 0-60?? any info would be great!!! Lucky

BRO FIRST OF ALL IF YOU WANT QUICK FOR YOU 99 GT SCREW EVERY THING YOU ARE ABOUT OT DO IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GO WITH AN ATI PROCHARGER AND TUNE IT WITH AND PMS ANDERSON PIGGY BACK COMPUTER I DID THAT WITH MY 02 GT AND THE RESULTS WERE AMAZING LETS JUST SAY THIS MY FRIEND HAS A 98 COBRA WITH 440 AT TIRE IN HORSE AND 390 IN TORQUE AND I BEAT HIM IN A RACE WITH MY GT
NOW AS FAR AS GEARS GO IF YOU WANT A STRICTLAY 1/4 MILE CAR GO WITH 4:10 GEARS ESPECIALLY IF IT WILL BE SUPER CHAARGED BEST FOR ACCELERATION AND YET MAINTAINS A GOOD TOP SPEED

3.55's & 3.73's are excellent for 1/4 et's. 4.10's are too, but may cause traction problems. If your car seems to hook up well, or you plan to run slicks or drag radials, then the 4.10's will do just fine, but you will lose some top-end speed and your gas mileage will suffer.
