Hey, my brother has a 2000 mustang GTconvt. with a auto trans ( he could never fit into my truck so he never learned to drive a manual).  He thinks that there is something wrong because when he puts it into drive the rpm goes down under to around fivehundered rpm.  My question is what is going wrong and how can he fix this?
