I have an 89 LX that I'm working on making into a Cobra R. I have motor and suspension laready. My question is, I like the '95 Cobra R wheels, will they fit on the car? Im keeping the 4-lug for now so im just putting 17 inch wheels onto a stock ride height 89 LX. Any help, thanks.

You can find imitations that are made for 4 lug setups just look through the mmff ads or hunt ebay.

Yeah I found the 4 lugs already but I didn't know if 16 inch fronts and 17 rears would fit on a lowered suspension without any other mods.

Should fit. I have 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 roh's on my 93. Width/backspacing is what you really have to watch.

I want to do the same thing after the 5 lug conversion. But my wheels are 17x11 back and 17x9 front, will these fit without any modification? I don't think so..

The 17x11s might be a problem on the Fox cars. They were not blessed with large wheel wells like the SN95 and later Mustangs. The 17x9 should fit, but like someone else mentioned in this post, watch the backspacing.
