I got a couple of questions for you guys, first of all, how good are the GER aod transmitions? Secondly, i just bought a 342 from central coast mustangs, with probe flat top pistons, forged I beam rods, and steal crank. It has a E303 cam in it, a main girdle, and all the extra stuff the short block comes with. I have a set of AFR 165 heads, a typhoon intake, with a 1" spacer. 70mm tb & egr. 24lbs injectors, c&l mass air. 190 fuel pump, holly regulator The guy a central coast mustang says that it will have about 10 1/2 comp. My car has a aod in there right now with a 2200 stall, and i have 3.73 gears. equeal lenght headers, 2 1/2" h pipe, and flowmasters. Does this sound like a good combo? What kind of power should i be putting down. Keep in mind that i have a msd box, distributor, wires, under drive pulleys, electric fan, jet chip, and probably 15 things that i am forgetting. Are central coast mustang pretty good builders? has anyone had any problems with them? And lastly does any one know of a good place that i could get my engine tuned, Anround San Jose california? Just incase i run into any problems. This is the first time that i am ever doing anything with fuel injection, and if anything goes wrong ill need some help form someone. Will i have any trouble getting this thing to pass our smog test, and what kind of fuel pressure should i be running?
Thank you for any help.
