V8 FOCUS

it sure is great to get up next to a ricer, rev the 419 hp v8 and see them sink in their custom seats!!!!

Sorry dude... although I like the idea of the engine swap and commend you for taking on the challenge a focus basically is a ricer. I believe the term is domestic rice. Oh well at least it isn't a civic.  The focus is one of those in between cars. It isnt a muscle car and it isn't imported therefore It is hard to place it. It would be the same as putting a camaro engine in a cavailier. As long as you enjoy it that is all that matters. But don't be acting like your against the ricers when your car basically is one. Ford built the focus to compete with imported markets. Look at any ricer magazine and your sure to see plenty of pics of the ford focus. Please tell me you didn't kill a perfectly good mustang well doing the swap. 

hey man dont hate the guys car.talk about a sleeper .pull up next to that car and get the suprise of your life.i for one think the swap is cool.i met the guy who makes these swaps at englishtown nj like two years ago.the whole kit is bolt in.the guy had the 320hp gt40 motor in it with a auto tranny and 3.27's and the car went deep into the 12's.now they have the swap for the mod motors!id do one up if i didnt have my car!  

I am not hating on the guys car. I think it is a cool idea. I just found it humourous that he is bad mouthing ricers when he basically is one.

I agree blownsnake. This guy has taken a car that was built Ford Tough and bettered it into an even nicer ride. Not to mention that it'll probably knock down most that try to run him. Just because the Focus was built to try and sway younger drivers away from imports doesnt mean that its a ricer. Obviously some of the other readers arent completely true to the big Blue Oval....  

I don't even konw if it has to be about being true to the Big Blue Oval. The V8 Focus is a nice car on it's own right. This spent a lot of time and money to build a car that HE wanted. Would I do it the same way? No, but that's the point. It's different then every other Focus running the streets. It's a hole lot faster then a lot of other cars you'll come across. It looks totaly different . So yeah, I think it's cool. It's not a ricer in my book because it now has V8 and rear wheel drive. Ricers have a little four poppers, front drive and a big f#rt pipe.  

Dude i think ur car look sweet yo man do me a favor when u see a ricers out there try to me bad with his car dude show them what a FORD can do PLSSSS do that KISS ALL THE CIVICS
