I want to build a motor for my stang, I have a 94 GT. I plan to get a 351 and slowly build a very decent motor. It will be a street car, with some strip action for fun. I dont know whether I should build from a cleveland or windor block. Im trying to weight out all options from the price of parts to the amount of power I can get for the money. thanks for the help......mike

Build a Windsor. There are a lot more parts avalable for the Windsor then for the Cleveland. I know the Cleveland was the motor to have but not anymore.

Go with the Windsor. Its more difficult to get parts for a 351C than a Windsor.

I thought Clevelands have massive valves in them. I was under the impression that the two barrel and four barrel motors had different size valves, but I'm not sure how big. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me.
So here is where I have a problem. In order to flow enough air in a Cleveland to really use those valves, I think you would need to have a really high winding engine. That means that you would have to have a really solid bottom end.
Does anyone know what kind of RPM's it would take to really get those Cleveland heads percolating? I used to have a Chevy 350 with 2.02 valves (and an unbelievable Spectre Racing bottom end) that I would routinely wind up over 7500 RPM's, so I'm wondering what kind of RPM's you would need for those massive Cleveland heads to flow right.
...anybody?

I strongly recommend buying them from ebay , there cheaper and you have more price range to chose . would also like to recommend Generic Viagra for people like myself that have intimacy issues
