I am currently on deployment overseas and am trying to have work done on my car while away. I want to have it painted. I know a guy who owns a paint shop, so that isn't a problem. My problem is what I should paint my car. I want it to stand out and be different. And it has to be blue. But I don't want a blue you can see on any stock car driving down the road. Any ideas of where online or what catalogs I might be able to order to try and find some ideas. Also, any personal ideas are more then welcome.

That's a nice color, but it's too common. I don't want something stock. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thank you for the link. The blue I want is deeper, but that is the closest I have seen yet.

it might not be the right 'blue' you're looking for, but the Dodge Viper has a really good-looking blue --AND you won't see it very much.

You make a valid point. I will take that into serious consideration. Thanks.

For the colors on you car you can go with an artist book style. Cobalt is a bright blue, pains grey is a mix of black and blue to give a darker more greyish color but the hint of blue is still there. Just go to any arts and crafts store or book store and they should have the art and color scales.    It could help if you.

That's a very good idea. There is just one problem. I'm on deployment. So the only thing I can do is look online, and order catalogs and such. Aside from that I', in the dark. Thanks for the idea though. Any other ideas are more then welcome.

I told you about the  'Viper blue', and I know of another blue I really like.  It's the blue found on  Kentucky college football helments. I'm not a Kentucky fan, but I do like this color.

That's a beautiful blue. it's the color I want, but I want it in a deeper shade. If that's possible.

P.S. Your car's coming along nicely. I like the bumper and hood. It's the first foxbody I've seen like that. It stands out from the rest.

Thanx man. Its a Atantic blue. An other blue I like that is deeper is the Mazda blue you see on there newer cars.

The blue is not that light, like in the pics (bad camera). ill put up more pics to show you what it looks like all around(and to show off lol).

In one pic you can see my 95' v6 Mustang! I love Mustangs!

I have alot of work its a full rebuild thats why the car sits high no motor or trans in it or front window ha!

PS:dont forget to show off your stang when its done (or not done).
