I think it's a great starter car for a kid learning how to drive. I don't think I would want my kid with all the power of the V8 till he had some hours under his belt with the V6.  

Untraditional, one question. Back when those first 1964 1/2 Mustangs were rolling f the assembly line, do you think everybody bought the 289 and tricked them out and completey left the 6 cyl 170 alone?  

That's real sad. You know not everyone can even afford a car. They have to take the bus and to laugh at someone who has a V6 is really sad. I have a blown 02GT making over 400hp and I would never laugh at someones V6 Mustang, at least they bought American. They probably worked hard to own that thing. The only ones I laugh at are the 4 bangers imports with the big ole fart pipe mufflers but I don't laugh at them I just laugh to myself and think "IDIOT"

It is the same car you V8 guys are driving except for a bigger engine. Who gives a crap if somebody buys a damn V6. You guys are just pissed off because your V8's look the same as the V6's and the V6 guys get the same respect for owning a Mustang (from people who dont know anything about these vehicles) as a V8 would.

From a distance you cant even tell the difference. Deal with it Ford put two engines in the car. If your this pissed off buy another car.

two word for you "car insurance". the one and only reason i went with the v6 over the v8 was lower insurance rates. granted it isn't a huge difference but every little bit help. don't get me wrong if could have i would have gotten the a gt or cobra i would have in a second, and someday i hope to have one sitting in my garage, but right now my little v6 is working just fine for me.

Ps - If you even knew a little about Stangs, you'd know (aside from bodylines) a factory V6 doesn't have the same aggressive "look" as the V8, "beotch".

Same agressive look my a$$. Your car looks exactly the same. Look at 4cyl and 5.0  before 1994 the only truly stand out difference is the little 5.0 emblem on the side. Then look at 1994 - 1998 V6's and V8's you can't tell them apart.  Ford screwed up and aloud there sports car to have smaller engines. Who gives a a flying f**k. Yeah sure a true mustang fan would notice the difference but the other 98% doesn't see anything different.... "Oh look a mustang" .... and that is what is pissing you off.... you are being compared to cheaper model and your ego is being damage ....boo hoo hoo you whiny little beotch.

Go find a post where anyone said they didn't like V6's because they look so much like a V8.........and when you can't find any, you'll realise you should just stfu.

A V6 mustang looks like a V6 Mustang, unless the owner puts wheels, emblems and dual exhaust exits on the thing.  Yes sitting still it looks like the eight, but once they turn the key all reality is revealed.....no more facades.......you know like the sock in your pants.

people like what they like v-6 or not, for thier own reasons, if you expect people to respect what you have and like, you must respect them, I personally know a 2000 v-6 that would mop the floor with 95% of the GT's on the road.

The only view I see of those boats is in the junkyard. Oh yeah and ocassionally the rear end as it is being towed. Get a clue and turn that junk heap in. Do the poor car and yourself a favor.  

Just a thought...how do the production #'s of V6 vs V8 compare? More of which?

I mess with somewhat rare cars, FoMoCo only made 722 of these in '94...maybe that's the lure, to mod sumthin' rare? To mod sumthin' not as common? To be different? Uh oh, did we come full circle?
